“Me Financially” started out as a personal finance research project. The intent was to catalogue the good, the bad, and the ugly in my journey of debt freedom and financial stability. I am by no means a professional financial advisor, but I’ve become more financially wise over the years. My hope is to share some of my best practices and give some better perspective to my readers.
I’ve made plenty of mistakes that lead me down a seemingly bottomless pit of debt, but I realized that my biggest obstacle was education. In school, there were no classes that taught me how to budget money, and I don’t recall any family dinners where we discussed best practices for credit or saving money. Me Financially joins the movement to help fill that educational gap.
On this site, you will find information that best helped me and will hopefully give you better insight when dealing with:
- Money (Banking, Budgeting, Credit, Savings, College, Military, etc.)
- Deals (Compiling the best deals of quality products I can find on the internet)
- Tech News (I’m kind of a tech-geek, so I’ll keep you in the know)
- Reviews (As I make purchases online, I will review the items, and give them a wallet-rating.)
Hopefully my lessons learned through trial and error will help give you some general knowledge about personal finance and help you make more informed financial decisions.
